The property is an old village house, in a quiet street, tastefully converted into a holiday home while still retaining its rustic feel. The arched ceilings on the ground floor and the amazing stonework and floor tiling throughout the house are all original features that will immediately embrace the visitors on entering the property.
The sizable traditional inner courtyard at the entrance has been converted into a private pool and deck area through which one enters into a combined living and dining/kitchen space, quaintly separated by arches.
A twin bed room and a separate family bathroom complete the ground floor.
An original stone staircase leads to an arched landing area and two other double bedrooms on the first floor, both with ensuite facilities.
The house is well equipped and furnished and is situated close to the village square with its restaurants and bars, the hub and life of the local community. Xaghra also boasts of unique prehistoric temples, which are the oldest standing structures in the world, and together with the burial grounds found close by, are a magnet for historians and archaeologists from all over the world.
